Who Will You Find Inside The Sporting Club Ireland?

The Sporting Club Ireland is very simple at its core.

We’re trying to build an ecosystem of good people helping good people, and businesses helping businesses. A place where you can grow your network, entertain clients, develop business, build relationships, meet interesting people and hopefully enjoy yourself along the way.

And that only works if the community is made up of people from all different walks of business life.

So who will you find involved?

You’ll find people from professional services, law, accounting, wealth management, recruitment, construction, property, real estate, insurance, finance, technology, marketing, hospitality, healthcare, fitness, travel, automotive, engineering and plenty more.

You’ll find business owners, senior executives, entrepreneurs, people building companies, people running established ones and, of course, plenty of people from the world of sport too.

That mix is the whole point.

Because at some stage, opportunities naturally present themselves.

Someone needs an accountant. Someone needs legal advice. Someone is looking for a recruiter. Someone is buying property. Someone needs finance. Someone wants a new website. Someone needs a personal trainer. Someone is looking for a supplier. And someone else simply needs an introduction to a person they would never normally get the chance to meet.

Sometimes two people just sit beside each other, get on well and realise there’s something they can do together.

That’s the ecosystem we’re trying to create.

Not forced networking. Not people walking around a room firing business cards at each other. Just putting good people together often enough that relationships, introductions, collaborations and business start to happen naturally.

Sport plays a massive part in that.

It’s the common denominator. It starts conversations, creates brilliant experiences and gives our members access to some incredible sportspeople along the way.

But ultimately, sport gets people through the door. The people are what make the club.

And in a world becoming more dominated by AI, automation, LinkedIn messages, emails, Zoom calls and everything online, I genuinely believe the personal touch is going to become even more valuable.

Sitting beside someone. Having a coffee. Sharing a table. Watching a game. Having a laugh. Getting introduced by somebody you trust.

That stuff still matters. Probably more than ever.

So that’s what we’re trying to build with The Sporting Club Ireland.

Not just another networking group.

A proper business community. A strong ecosystem. Great people. Great sport. Real relationships. And hopefully a bit of fun along the way.
