Sporting Club Ireland: The Story So Far.
We’ve put on events featuring Paddy Andrews, Martin O’Neill, Tom Coleman, Conor Meyler, Johnny Sexton, Peter O’Mahony, Charlie Smyth, Nina Carberry, Anthony Daly, Neil McManus, Peter Canavan and Harry Redknapp.
At those events, we’ve had anywhere from 120 to 200 like-minded businesspeople and
professionals in the room each time. But the names and the events are only part of the story.
What matters more is what has happened because those people were in the room together.
Connections have been made. Business has been done. Introductions have turned into genuine opportunities.
One person is now close to securing investment on the back of an introduction we made.
We’ve helped athletes secure commercial opportunities and appearances.
We’ve helped Irish businesses make introductions into our Sporting Club network in the UK.
And there are already plenty of other good stories we haven’t even told yet.

Building the ecosystem
Our membership has grown steadily too, and that matters because the bigger and stronger the
membership becomes, the better the ecosystem becomes for everyone involved.
The whole idea is simple: Good people helping good people. Businesses helping businesses.Creating opportunities through the power of sport.
As a member of Sporting Club Ireland, you’re not simply joining an events club.
Members get access to:
· Our growing Irish business network
· The wider Sporting Club network in the UK
· Our club lounges
· Member benefits
· Private introductions
· Business matchmaking
· Members-only events
And plenty more that we’re currently working on
We already have club lounges at UCD O’Reilly Hall and Shelbourne Park, with more locations around Ireland coming.
The Sporting Club Ireland app
We’ve launched the Sporting Club Ireland app, which will become a major part of how members connect, discover opportunities, attend events and use the wider network.
We’ve also launched our new website, giving us another platform to showcase our members, partners, events and opportunities. As the membership grows, we’re developing more advanced ways of helping the right people find each other and do business together.

What’s coming next?
The events continue too.
September 24th - Lewis Moody
October 15th - Patrick Horgan
October 22nd - Dublin event to be announced
November 5th - Dublin event
January 21st - Harry Redknapp
We also have our first private members’ drinks evenings and members-only events coming, alongside more club lounges, more member benefits, more partnerships and some very exciting names still to be announced. And we are nowhere near finished.
We want the introductions, opportunities, collaborations, investments and deals that come through Sporting Club Ireland to eventually number in the hundreds and thousands. That is the ambition.
Not simply to put on great sporting events.
To build a genuine business community where sport opens the door, but the relationships,
opportunities and people are what make it valuable.
Come to an event. Join the club. Get involved in the network.
Because there’s a very good chance the next person you meet through Sporting Club Ireland could be someone you do business with, collaborate with, help, or who can help you.
And that is exactly what we’re trying to build.
